Why is it that I get these visions of opportunity and never have the time to pursue them? People say that I'm a shiny object kind of guy that has a short attention span and likes to get into new things because i get bored easily. Well that may be true but life wasn't meant to be dull, routine, boring or was it? Maybe I have it all wrong and I am supposed to be a robot kinda person who punches a clock for 8 hours then goes home to some Stepford wife who has been baking toll house cookies all day, or in my case making tortillas all day to eat the chicken mole she slaved to make. No I don't think so.
Well readers of this blog already know that I have multiple interests from my real estate and construction activities to the racing team and the olive ranch but there are so many more ventures out there that I need to explore.
Just the other day I was having a conversation with the number 2 son about the future and how he could make a great living helping other people have a good time. The only drawback was that he would have to relocate to an area that would be foreign to him and his way of life... You see the problem and this is not unique to #2 but everyone wants to live, play and work in familiar surroundings but for those who are willing to take a chance there is gold in them thar hills.
I think I am that sort of guy. I would take the chance heck new diggs never scared me and I have never been wedded to a particular geographic location in fact be it Sacto, Stockton or even Lockwood I could do that ...for a while at least... or until the next piece of glitter got in my eye.
