For forty years I missed an opportunity to enjoy a friendship that I had while I was in High school. John and I met at school and interacted with each other at Church and other events. He was a year or two older than me but what the heck, didn't matter then or now. Around 1971, He came to stay with us for a while in San Diego and just like that I went away to school and we never saw each other again that is until February of 2010 when by some odd chance we found each other on Facebook. We exchanged greetings and swapped a phone call to verify that we were who we said we were. Finally setting up a time and a place to meet. We went somewhere safe, the Graveyard winery in Paso Robles. So on Valentines day 2010, we took our wives and had the most wonderful evening bringing each other up-to-date, drinking wine and enjoying a multi-course meal fit for a king. We vowed to do it again!
Dont let time pass you by, I have re-connected with so many friends and have a lot more to find, IF, I could ever find the time.........
