We decided to help sponsor the concert through our
Santo Olivo brand olive oil.The show started with Dave Mason who played a huge set of memorable hits from his days with Traffic, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Songs like
"We Just Disagree"," Feeling Alright" and "40 Thousand Headmen" made the show seem too short.
Heck the guy played for an hour and a half straight through then did 2 encores.
Next up was Los Lobos who quickly
got the crowd up on their feet with some rockabilly tunes and some latin cumbias.After a hour set the band took a break and then returned with their signature hit "La Bamba" which nearly brought the house down. The crowd rushed the stage and was going crazy all in good fun.
Last up was "Los Lonely Boys
from San Angelo, Texas who brought their Texas sized music to California and delivered the knockout punch to this music festival Singing their Grammy winning song "Heaven" and the classic "I'm a Man" plus many more Texican tunes.We had a great time and just wanted to thank "Options" for the opportunity to join in on this great event
